We make our soap in small batches which are hand cut. We only use pure vegetable oils and we don't use animal by - products or synthetic ingredients. Our soap formula uses Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Palm Kernel Oil. Each of these oils lends a distinct quality to our soaps. The Olive Oil is used for its mildness and ability to soften the skin. Olive Oil which makes up over 50% of our formula base also makes our soap extremely gentlefor sensitive skin. The Coconut Oil gives it a rich fluffy lather and the Palm Kernel Oil a hard bar.  These oils produce a bar with lots of creamy lather that do not dehydrate your skin.

We add Shea Butter and Jojoba to each batch to add even more moisturizing qualities to our soap. Note we also a variety of other moisturizing oils such as castor, hemp, avocado and cocoa butter. Some soaps may have buttermilk powder or honey added to the blend for enhanced softness.

All soaps are scented with only pure essential oils. Our blends are made some with light Citrus scents, to calming Lavender blends to the deep scents of Patchouli and the stimulating scents of Peppermint. Note if you are sensitive to scents, our SDJ Calendula soap has no scent but instead is infused with the healing petals of calendula.

Herb powders or clays may be added for color and texture. Some bars contain powdered oatmeal which gently exfoliates the skin.
